» JVPC

De JVPC is in 1990 opgericht door arts assistenten in opleiding tot plastisch chirurg en telt ongeveer 75 leden. Deze leden zijn in verschillende fases van hun opleiding tot plastisch chirurg en werkzaam in verschillende opleidingsziekenhuizen verspreid door het land. Het doel van de JVPC is om de belangen van de leden te behartigen, de ontwikkeling van de plastische chirurgie te bevorderen, de opleiding tot plastisch chirurg te verbeteren en de samenwerking met gelijksoortige organisaties, zowel nationaal als internationaal te verbeteren.

De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Esthetische Plastische Chirurgie is de vereniging van plastisch chirurgen die gespecialiseerd zijn in cosmetische chirurgie.

De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Handchirurgie. De doelstelling van de vereniging is het bevorderen van de kwaliteit van de handchirurgie in Nederland. Dit wordt bereikt door het organiseren van wetenschappelijke vergaderingen. Nieuwe leden kunnen op voordracht van twee leden worden ingebracht. De vereniging telt momenteel ongeveer 140 leden. Veelal plastisch chirurgen, verder orthopaedisch chirurgen, revalidatie artsen en fysiotherapeuten.

» Paz Holandesa

Het doel van deze stichting is het organiseren c.q. verlenen van (gratis) structurele medische en sociale hulp aan kinderen zonder economische bronnen en het opzetten van daarvan afgeleide duurzame projecten op termijn in het midden en zuiden van Peru, teneinde een bijdrage te kunnen leveren aan de ontwikkeling van bepaalde facetten van de basisgezondheidszorg van het land.

Plastic surgery is a wide field. It is not easy to describe it in a few words. So to give you an idea we have selected all the groups that the Netherlands Society for Plastic Surgery distinguishes to categorize all diagnoses. Accordingly we will try to find related sites on the Internet with information on these topics. Hand surgery and Cranio-maxillofacial surgery are well represented, but inevitably contain sites of colleagues of other specialties who have built worthwhile sites such as orthopedics and head and neck surgeons.

» PSRC

The Plastic Surgery Research Council is an inclusive organization focused on stimulating fundamental research in plastic surgery. In its logo, the society displays the Baronio sheep which stands for the first experimental description of a successful auto- and allograft skin transplantation in 1804 by Guiseppe Baronio. Since the foundation in the 1950´s, the PSRC has established itself as a reputable society within the specialty of plastic surgery and has expanded internationally, reaching out especially to young, interested, plastic surgeons in training.
